Stacey and Parker Jane on the Runway in San Francisco!

Parker Jane and Stacey made me a proud poppa and hubby today.  They modeled at the Old Navy Outerwear show in downtown San Francisco.  They looked great and Parker had the biggest smiles all day long.

Here's my video tribute to my Cover Girls!

My girls with the pretty smiles.

Parker Jane had so much fun at her first fashion show.

Stacey teaches Parker Jane all about ice cream sandwiches, we have a special kind here in the SF area.

October 17, 2009 Update!

Another family day in SF.  We walked over 5 miles today and we had 3 little adventures as we walked from the Tenderloin all the way down to the 280 on ramp and back.  Our first stop was a community garden located between 7th and 8th streets and Folsom.  Some of our usher friends belong to this garden and they let us bring Parker Jane in to see all the butterflies and chickens.  Once inside it is hard to imagine all this in in the middle of the city.
Public Garden

Alternative Press Expo 09 - Parker Jane's second comic convention.  This is the Independent focused comic show and it was great fun to go and support our friend Storm http://stormantic.com as he launched his first comic.  We also met Jeff Smith who created the Bone comic and he signed a Shazam book for Parker.

Parker Jane found the badges to be very tasty as well as colorful.
Art Galley - Finally we stumbled into a funky little art collective and their current displays.  All local SF artist and some interesting pieces to say the least.  Parker and Stacey were especially taken with a rusty nail voodoo totem offering a special hand signal.  A full day with lots to see and do with the family.

Stairmaster General - Parker Jane has figured out the stairs (with supervision) both up and down.  This makes for a great baby work out and some seriously funny rump shots of our girl.  We also added some other fun indoors adventures we had during the latest storms.  Parker Jane loves to play in her tent.

October 12, 2009:

Our family searches for the most sincere pumpkin patch.

Parker Jane inspects the wagons for sincerity.

Stacey and Parker Jane both agree that Rodoni Farms know how to do a pumpkin patch right.

Parker rides the wagon.

Parker inspects the patch up close.

Parker Jane loved the wagon.

The girls have lots of smiles and love.

Parker laughs.

One last look.

Some of the pumpkins were bigger than Parker.

Where are the girls?

Haystack poses.

Our family wishes everyone a Happy Halloween.

October 5, 2009: New Adventures with Parker Jane!
Adventure 1: It's way too quiet.  Parker Jane has found a new way to have fun in our downstairs bathroom.

Adventure 2: C'mon, c'mon.  Parker tries to gain access to the stairs by offering an invitation to join her on a climb.  The gates of wraith go in this weekend.

September 27, 2009:
Daddy Day Care this week includes a coffee shop visit and a special nap under Jerry's top hat.

Since Daddy has a coffee cup Parker Jane had to have one too.

She tries figure out how to get a sip.

I think she's on to the fact that the cup is empty.

Parker Jane naps under Jerry Garcia's iconic top hat.  Only in SF!

Sweet dreams of peace and love for the boo.

September 19, 2009:

Parker Jane checking in from the Hayward comic con.  First up a $2 Plastic Man for mommy's desk.  Babies can find bargains too.

Next I get to meet Kathy Garver.  She does voices on the Spider-Man cartoons and she was also Cissy on The Family Affair TV show.  She was super friendly to me and suggested I try out for movies because I am such a happy mellow baby.  Daddy bought a copy of her cookbook and Kathy signed it to me :)  You can click the picture to order your own from Amazon.

All right we really should get outta Hayward before it gets dark.  Head back to SF and get ready for the Opera at the Ballpark tonight.

Toybox fun while mommy watches her stories.

She really knows her name :)

Redonkulous outfit 657.

This special outfit came courtesy of .....dare I name them?

Parker Jane makes this look good!  I hated it in on the hanger but once she gets it on I love it!

August 29, 2009:
Parker Jane beats the heat and meets the band all while never forgetting her veggies.

Ok, so it was like 100 degrees in SF this weekend so we hit the road and drove to Halfmoon Bay.  There we can enjoy the sun but the temps are much lower.  Today we found the American Legion Hall holding a flea market with a tasty live band.

Blame it on the Dog performed great covers and originals.  More on the band later.

Parker Jane is memorized by the band.  Stacey flashes the grill.

The whole family takes in the show.  Hey technically it's her first concert.

Parker Jane approved jams.  Now that is one happy pair.

Blame it on the Dog
Later after a n awesome lunch at Crab Landing we headed back to catch the next set and Parker snagged a cd and met one of the band members.

Kevon Cottrell and his wife were super nice to their newest fan.  Her first show and she is already backstage meeting the band.  http://home.earthlink.net/~biotdog/index.html

On the way home we stopped for some fresh berries.

Some times big tastes come from small places.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.  Until next time Parker Jane out.

August 15, 2009:

Ok, here's the new trick.  Step 1 grab the toy bin.

Step 2 hoist my baby body up.

Step 3 straighten the back and legs.  And so it begins...
More pics below.

Parker Jane likes to face front in her stroller now.

Parker Jane and her friend Vivian went to have portraits done today.  Check out some of the great proofs.

July 3, 2009:
Parker Jane once again posing like a pro.  More of these pictures on the Daddy Page.

July 2, 2009:
Parker Jane, lady about town.  It is sort of surreal to meet your baby daughter twice in one afternoon.

Parker leaves the house around 7:15 each day with Miriam and her kids.  They go to the parks, libraries, and other summer kids programs offered here in SF.  I bumped into her once as I went to get a coffee and then later as I was walking back from the comic book store.

She always is excited to see me and I love how happy she looks with all the other kids.  It's nice to know that she is being well cared for and best of all she is happy all day long.  Check the Fans of Parker Page for some of Miriam's kids artwork.  Too fun fun!

Parker Jane's first Pride Weekend SF.

She's rocking her rainbow dress and signature smile.

June 26, 2009: Pic of the Day!

A very clean and fresh Parker Jane!

June 21, 2009:

It's my very first Father's Day as a father.  Parker got all dolled up for the event.

Initialed dress and headband complimented her smile perfectly.

If she gets any cuter my heart will explode.

Up close and personal with little lady.

A little blanket snack attack.

I love my Daddy this much!!!!

Put Parker on your desktop at home or at work.

June 2, 2009:
Hey gang I'm back at full strength.  My bouncy bouncer is great therapy.

I like to hop back and forth to strengthen each leg evenly.

OK so I got put into the hippie clothes and loaded off to support our first family garage sale.

Pops and I rented a van to carry our stuff to San Jose, then we used the van as our storefront.

Hey come check out our super stuff that's for sale.

Mom pitched in and since we joined forces with other families it was a busy sale.

It all went to make room for more Parker Jane stuff.  At one point I took a nap in my beach baby bubble, right on the lawn.  It was a fun day with Bonnie and family and we made a few bucks too.

May 29, 2009:

It's Grandma's last day in San Francisco so Parker Jane spent some extra quality time with her this morning.  Enjoy the great snapshots.

How can Grandma leave this face behind?  Huh?  How?

Wake up with Noggin' and Grandma.

So look if you have to leave please remember the following things.

First off, I'm gonna miss you this much!

Shhh I have a baby secret for you to take to Aunt Becky and Aunt Erin.

One last thing can I have your shirt?  I like it very much.

DON'T FORGET ME!!!!!

She only finished half the cookie but she is on her way.  Rice cereal is just around the corner.
